CareerLab Service Scope & Client Acknowledgment

Thank you for choosing CareerLab by Impact Partners Group. CareerLab provides résumé, LinkedIn, career positioning, interview, and job search advisory services designed to help clients strengthen their professional materials, clarify their market positioning, and improve search readiness. By purchasing a CareerLab package or add-on service, you acknowledge and agree to the following service terms.

1. Nature of Services

CareerLab services are advisory, coaching, writing, and positioning services. CareerLab does not guarantee job placement, interviews, offers, salary outcomes, recruiter responses, or hiring decisions. CareerLab provides professional guidance, strategic recommendations, résumé and LinkedIn support, and career advisory services based on the package purchased. Client outcomes may vary based on market conditions, role availability, client experience, timing, networking activity, application volume, interview performance, employer requirements, and other factors outside CareerLab’s control.

2. Package Scope

Each CareerLab package includes a defined level of advisory support, document development, coaching, and/or review based on the package selected at checkout. Services must remain within the scope of the package purchased. Requests beyond the included scope may require an additional fee, extension package, or separately quoted engagement.

Tier 1: LinkedIn Profile & Résumé Optimization

Package Term: 2 weeks from kickoff
Included Support: Up to 5 total hours of CareerLab advisory and delivery support
Meeting Cadence: Up to one 60-minute meeting per active package week


Tier 1 is designed for focused résumé and LinkedIn review, visibility improvement, and recruiter-informed recommendations. Tier 1 does not include a full résumé rewrite, full LinkedIn rewrite, ongoing coaching, interview preparation, or active job search management unless separately purchased. Tier 1 may include:

  • Intake review
  • Résumé and LinkedIn audit
  • ATS and keyword visibility assessment
  • Recruiter-insight recommendations
  • Top improvement opportunities
  • Delivery or walkthrough call
  • Light clarification support

Tier 2: Advanced Career Consultancy

Package Term: 3 weeks from kickoff
Included Support: Up to 10 total hours of CareerLab advisory and delivery support
Meeting Cadence: Up to one 60-minute meeting per active package week

Tier 2 is designed for résumé and LinkedIn transformation, career positioning, and market-ready professional materials. Tier 2 includes one primary résumé direction. Additional résumé versions, cover letters, targeted job-specific rewrites, outreach scripts, interview preparation, or extended search strategy may require an additional fee. Tier 2 may include:

  • Intake and kickoff discussion
  • Career positioning guidance
  • One primary résumé rewrite or optimization
  • LinkedIn profile rewrite or branding recommendations
  • ATS and keyword optimization
  • Messaging guidance
  • Final résumé and LinkedIn delivery
  • Up to three consolidated revision rounds on core deliverables

Tier 3: Executive Performance Coaching

Package Term: 5 weeks from kickoff
Included Support: Up to 18 total hours of CareerLab advisory and delivery support
Meeting Cadence: Up to one 60-minute meeting per active package week

Tier 3 is designed for executive-level positioning, résumé and LinkedIn transformation, interview readiness, search strategy, and structured advisory support. Tier 3 includes structured support during the active package term. Additional mock interviews, recorded interview reviews, support for active or newly scheduled interviews, additional résumé versions, extended offer negotiation support, or ongoing search accountability may require an additional fee or extension package. Tier 3 may include:

  • Deep intake and diagnostic review
  • Executive positioning narrative
  • Collaborative résumé and LinkedIn rewrite
  • ATS optimization
  • Mock interview coaching
  • Interview strategy guidance
  • LinkedIn outreach training and/or scripts
  • Job search methodology
  • Activity planning
  • Offer and negotiation guidance
  • Ongoing check-ins within the active package term
  • Up to three consolidated revision rounds on core résumé and LinkedIn deliverables

4. Add-On Services

CareerLab may offer add-on or continuation services for clients who need additional support after or alongside their core package.

CareerLab Momentum Pack

Included Support: Up to 4 total hours
Recommended Use Period: 2 weeks

The Momentum Pack is a focused continuation package for clients who need additional support after their core CareerLab engagement. It may be used for light résumé refinement, role evaluation, messaging support, interview preparation, or next-step strategy.

CareerLab Advancement Pack

Included Support: Up to 8 total hours
Recommended Use Period: 3–4 weeks

The Advancement Pack is a deeper continuation package for clients who want additional structured support after their initial CareerLab engagement. It may be used for search strategy, opportunity evaluation, networking guidance, résumé refinement, interview preparation, and accountability.

CareerLab Sprint or QuickStart Session (30-60 minutes)

Included Support: One focused advisory session

The session is designed for quick, targeted guidance. It may be used for opportunity review, résumé alignment discussion, search direction, interview preparation, outreach strategy, or career decision support. It does not include document rewriting unless specifically stated at purchase or separately quoted.

5. Kickoff & Scheduling

CareerLab engagements are scheduled to begin within 7 days of purchase, subject to client completion of required intake materials and mutual scheduling availability. The package term begins at kickoff. If required intake materials are not submitted, CareerLab may delay kickoff until the materials are received. Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information needed to complete the engagement.

6. Client Intake Requirements

Before kickoff, clients may be asked to provide:

  • Current résumé
  • LinkedIn profile URL
  • Target roles
  • Target industries
  • Target companies, if known
  • Sample job descriptions
  • Key accomplishments, metrics, or career highlights
  • Prior résumé versions or relevant career documents
  • Active search or interview status
  • Any special circumstances, such as confidential search, career pivot, fractional consulting, or urgent interviews. Incomplete intake materials may delay the engagement timeline.

7. Meetings & Coaching Sessions

Each package includes up to one 60-minute meeting per active package week unless otherwise stated. Meetings may be rescheduled based on mutual availability. However, unused meetings do not roll over beyond the active package term unless CareerLab agrees in writing. Additional meetings beyond the included cadence may require an additional fee or extension package.

8. Revisions

CareerLab revisions must be tied to the original scope and target direction of the package purchased. Tier 1 includes clarification support and does not include a full rewrite.Tier 2 and Tier 3 include up to three consolidated revision rounds on core résumé and LinkedIn deliverables. Revision requests should be submitted in a clear and consolidated manner. Multiple fragmented rounds of feedback may be treated as separate revision rounds. Major changes in career direction, target role, industry focus, or requested deliverables after work has begun may require additional fees.

9. Client Response Time

Clients are expected to provide feedback, approvals, and requested materials within 5 business days. If a client delays feedback, misses meetings, pauses communication, or does not provide required materials, the package timeline may be impacted. Unused weeks, unused sessions, or unused support time are forfeited after the package term unless an extension is purchased or CareerLab agrees otherwise in writing.

10. Additional Scope & Fees

Requests outside the package scope will be quoted separately or handled through an applicable add-on package. CareerLab will notify the client when a request falls outside the purchased package and may provide a separate quote before continuing. Examples of additional scope may include:

  • Additional résumé versions
  • Job-specific résumé tailoring
  • Cover letters
  • Additional LinkedIn rewrites
  • Additional mock interviews
  • Feedback on current or active interviews
  • Recorded interview review
  • Multi-round interview preparation
  • Recruiter outreach scripts
  • Confidential search strategy
  • Target company lists
  • Executive search firm lists
  • LinkedIn company page support
  • Fractional or founder positioning
  • One-page consulting capability overview
  • Ongoing accountability or job search support
  • Support requested after the package term has ended

11. Expiration of Services

Each CareerLab package remains active only during the stated package term. Unused time, unused meetings, or unused support do not automatically carry forward. Extensions may be purchased separately.

  • Tier 1: 2 weeks from kickoff
  • Tier 2: 3 weeks from kickoff
  • Tier 3: 5 weeks from kickoff
  • Momentum Pack: recommended 2-week use period
  • Advancement Pack: recommended 3–4-week use period
  • Next Move Session: single advisory session

12. Accuracy & Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for ensuring all information provided to CareerLab is accurate and truthful. CareerLab does not fabricate credentials, metrics, employment history, education, titles, accomplishments, certifications, or other professional claims. Clients are responsible for reviewing final materials for accuracy before using them.

13. No Employment Guarantee

CareerLab does not guarantee employment, interviews, offers, recruiter outreach success, compensation increases, promotions, or specific career outcomes. CareerLab provides professional materials, strategic guidance, coaching, and advisory support. Hiring decisions are made by employers and third parties outside CareerLab’s control.

14. Refunds, Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because CareerLab services involve reserved advisor time, intake review, preparation, writing, coaching, and custom work, purchases may be non-refundable once work has begun. If a client needs to reschedule a meeting, they should provide reasonable advance notice. Missed meetings or late cancellations may count toward the included meeting allotment unless otherwise agreed by CareerLab. Any approved refund, credit, or exception is at CareerLab’s discretion.

15. Confidentiality

CareerLab treats client materials and career information as confidential and uses them only for the purpose of providing purchased services. Clients should not submit confidential employer information, proprietary documents, trade secrets, or materials they are not authorized to share.

16. Acknowledgment

By purchasing a CareerLab package or add-on service, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the package scope, included hours, meeting cadence, revision limits, timelines, client responsibilities, and additional-scope policy.
